Arunachal landslides: Govt announces Rs 4 lakh ex gratia for next of kin of victims

Arunachal Pradesh government has announced Rs 4 lakh ex gratia for families of nine people killed in landslide-related incidents in the last 48 hours. Seven deaths occurred in East Kameng district, while two labourers died in Lower Subansiri district. Chief Minister Pema Khandu has urged people to remain vigilant due to forecasts of continued heavy rainfall.
