'Elon is terrific!': Trump says Musk’s last day is Friday – ‘but not really’

President Donald Trump said Thursday that billionaire Elon Musk’s stint as head of the Department of Government Efficiency will wrap at the end of the week – but hinted it may not be a real goodbye

“I am having a Press Conference tomorrow at 1:30 P.M. EST, with Elon Musk, at the Oval Office,” Trump wrote in a Truth Social post. “This will be his last day, but not really, because he will, always, be with us, helping all the way.”

“Elon is terrific! See you tomorrow at the White House,” the president added.
