‘Akka Sanjeevini’ Angadi launched in Udupi to empower women entrepreneurs

Udupi's Sanjeevini scheme is empowering women. It supports women entrepreneurs through Sanjeevini sales outlets. These outlets are managed by the women themselves. 'Akka Sanjeevini Angadi' shops were inaugurated in Shirva and Katapadi. Kaup MLA Gurme Suresh Shetty said women are excelling in all fields. He hopes more such outlets will open. The district is now a model for the state.
