Monsoon reaches Maharashtra

The southwest monsoon has arrived in Maharashtra and is expected to reach Mumbai within the next three days, according to the India Meteorological Department. The monsoon has advanced into several regions, including Karnataka, Goa, and parts of the Bay of Bengal and Northeast India. Coastal Konkan and Mumbai have already experienced heavy pre-monsoon rains.
