IMD forecasts Southwest monsoon arrival in Maharashtra soon, weather conditions remain favourable

India Meteorological Department forecasts the southwest monsoon to arrive in Maharashtra soon. Conditions are favorable for its advancement. The monsoon made landfall in Kerala earlier than usual. A red alert is issued for Ratnagiri and Sindhudurg districts due to expected heavy rainfall. Orange alert is announced for Raigad district.
