Trent, BEL shares surge up to 3% on entry in Sensex effective June 23

Trent and Bharat Electronics Ltd (BEL) shares surged following the announcement of their inclusion in the BSE Sensex, replacing Nestle India and IndusInd Bank, respectively. This rejig, effective June 23, is expected to trigger significant passive inflows into Trent and BEL. Broader reconstitutions across BSE indices also include changes in the BSE 100, Sensex 50, and Sensex Next 50.
