Basavaraju: BTech degree holder who 'engineered' major Naxal attacks on security forces

In a major victory against Left-wing extremism, security forces in Chhattisgarh eliminated Nambala Keshav Rao alias Basavaraju, the CPI (Maoist)'s general secretary, along with 26 others. Basavaraju, a master strategist behind numerous attacks on security personnel, had a reward of ₹1 crore on his head.
