Iconic Rock Band Foreigner Announces Major Change

Kelly Hansen, lead singer of the iconic rock band Foreigner, revealed that he will be leaving the band and announced his replacement during a performance on The Voice which aired on May 20. Foreigner has produced many hits, including “Feels Like the First Time” (1977); “Hot Blooded” (1978); “Waiting for a Girl Like You” (1981); and “I Want to Know What Love Is” (1984).

Hansen, 64, replaced Lou Gramm as the band’s lead vocalist in 2005. He plans to retire from his position following Foreigner’s summer 2025 tour.
