Residents Saddened After Niki's Restaurant Suddenly Closes After 35 Years

An "iconic" Florida restaurant is closing its doors on May 31 after serving the local Melbourne community for 35 years.

Niki's Restaurant, which offers classic diner fare with a Greek twist, according to the USA Today, announced its closure in a May 18 post on Facebook.

"After 35 years, it's time to retire! I sincerely thank you for all of the years of your loyal patronage," the owners, Floyd and Audrey Bradley, wrote in a social media post. "Niki's last day open will be Saturday, May 31st!
