WHO Chief: 116,000 tons of food held at the border while Gaza is starving

WHO chief Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus warned that two million Gazans are starving due to Israel’s ongoing blockade, which is preventing food and aid from entering the Strip. He also highlighted Gaza’s collapsed healthcare system amid escalating violence. Since October 7, 2023, more than 174,000 Palestinians have been killed or wounded.
