One of Duke’s earliest NBA stars, Marin was a significant presence in the league.

Today we’ve gotten kind of used to seeing Duke players all over the NBA, but in the early 1970’s, it wasn’t like that. Really the only players who had substantial careers for a long time were Jeff Mullins and Jack Marin.

Marin finished up at Duke in 1966 with a run to the Final Four before being drafted by the Baltimore Bullets, going #5 in that year’s draft.
