Morning Briefing: Juan Soto Says He’s ‘Hustling Very Hard’

After a thrilling weekend Subway Series, Juan Soto continues to get questioned about his hustling on the field. This came into question again on Monday, after Soto didn’t initially run hard out of the box on a single off the Green Monster at Fenway Park.

Manager Carlos Mendoza told reporters after the game that he plans to discuss the issue with Soto.

“In this ballpark with that wall right there, you gotta get out of the box,” Mendoza said. “We’ll discuss that.”
