Preliminary Cause of Death Released for 'My 600-lb Life' Star

A former "My 600-lb Life" star passed away in Louisiana over the weekend, according to reports. 

Latonya Pottain, who appeared on the TLC reality show in 2022, died at CHRISTUS Highland Medical Center in Shreveport, LA on Saturday night, per TMZ. She was 40 years old.

The reported cause of death following a preliminary autopsy is congestive heart failure, with a full autopsy still to come.
