NJ Transit starts selling train tickets ahead of service restart
NEW JERSEY (PIX11) – Commuters will soon be able to buy train tickets ahead of NJ Transit restarting rail service after it reached a tentative deal with its engineers' union.
Train tickets will start being sold at 10 p.m. on Monday for travel on Tuesday, May 20, the agency wrote on X. The strike started at 12:01 a.m. on Friday, when negotiations between NJ Transit and the Brotherhood Of Locomotive Engineers and Trainmen fell through.
