Mangaluru youth dies after KSRTC bus rams scooter on Bengaluru–Mangaluru national highway

In a tragic incident late Sunday, 24-year-old Alister D’Souza died after a KSRTC bus struck his scooter near Nehru Nagar in Panemangalore. According to police reports, the bus, driven by Shivayya Hiremath, was allegedly overtaking another vehicle when it veered right, hitting D’Souza. Severely injured, D’Souza was rushed to Bantwal Government Hospital, where he was declared dead.
