The Delhi High Court has upheld the rejection of a man seeking entry into the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) due to having only one testis, stating that paramilitary forces require personnel to be in “optimal physical condition.” The bench ruled that such standards are essential for safety and performance in extreme terrains. While the petitioner claimed that similar conditions were accepted in the Indian Air Force, the court stressed that each force sets its own medical guidelines and these are not subject to uniformity.
