Police summon SSC teachers amid job protest

Bidhannagar police issued notices to protesting teachers following a lathi charge. The SSC teachers, who lost their jobs after a Supreme Court verdict, continued protesting. The Supreme Court had cancelled thousands of school jobs in West Bengal. Teachers have been protesting for days. Police filed a case against the teachers, accusing them of destroying property and obstructing officials.
