Man sentenced for beating MTA worker, 75, in Bronx subway station

THE BRONX, N.Y. (PIX11) --- A Bronx man is heading to prison for breaking a 75-year-old MTA worker's nose and jaw during an attack in a subway station two years ago, authorities said.

Anthony Williams, 31, was sentenced to five years in prison Friday for assaulting Baboo Singh, 75, on his way to work in September 2023, according to prosecutors. Williams pleaded guilty to second-degree assault two months ago.
