Severe thunderstorm watch in effect for parts of tri-state area

NEW YORK (PIX11) – A tornado warning has been issued for parts of New Jersey amid severe thunderstorms expected in the area on Friday, according to the National Weather Service.

The warning lasts through 1:15 p.m. for Hammonton, Mays Landing and Victory Lakes, the NWS posted on X.
