One dead in Colonie after car collides with tree

COLONIE, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Colonie Police are investigating a fatal car crash that took place Friday morning on NY-32 toward Green Island. All lanes between Archibald Street and Maple Avenue reopened by 12:20 p.m. after being closed for several hours.

Police stated that just after 8 a.m., a 36-year-old male driver of a four-door sedan heading south on Route 32 left the roadway and collided with a tree outside a home.
