Eleventh woman judge in SC history, Justice Bela M Trivedi retires

Justice Bela M Trivedi, the eleventh woman judge of the Supreme Court, retired after serving three and a half years. She was part of several landmark judgements, including the EWS quota and sub-classification within Scheduled Castes. Justice Trivedi also overturned controversial Bombay High Court judgements related to the POCSO Act.
