Woman acquitted of murder after mental heath evaluation

AUSTIN (KXAN) — A woman charged with murder in connection with a June 2024 incident was acquitted Sept. 20, according to Travis County court documents.

Records showed 19-year-old Keziah Titus was acquitted of the murder charge after being found mentally incompetent.

As part of the judgment, Titus must be committed to a mental health facility or residential care facility for treatment.
