China to establish new military academies to train personnel for its rapidly modernising armed forces

China is set to establish three new military academies. These academies aim to train personnel for the People's Liberation Army's modernization. The Central Military Commission approved the restructuring. The new institutions include a PLA university, an engineering college, and a joint logistics support force institute. These will be higher education institutions. They will admit high school graduates nationwide.
