Reddit co-founder joins Chelsea Women ownership group with 10% stake

May 15 – Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian has joined the ownership group of Chelsea Women, confirming a £20 million investment that secures him a 10% stake in the reigning Women’s Super League champions. 

The American entrepreneur, who is also the husband of tennis great Serena Williams, announced the move on Wednesday, marking a bold new step in his growing commitment to women’s sport. “I’ve bet big on women’s sports before – and I’m doing it again,” he posted on LinkedIn.
