Beloved West Palm Beach Dog-Friendly Bar Has Closed Its Location

BRK Republic, a popular dog-friendly bar in West Palm Beach, Florida, has shut down.

The bar, located at 521 Clematis Street West Palm Beach, was "a dog friendly bar and hideout experience with 30 drafts a full liquor bar with a nice wine selection," according to its website. The official BRK Republic site also says the hangout is "closed for remodeling."

In a conversation with the Palm Beach Post, BRK Republic operating partner Kurt Taylor said the increased cost of goods and maintenance became untenable.
