Andrew Cuomo in strong lead among Democratic candidates for NYC mayor: poll

NEW YORK (PIX11) – Former Gov. Andrew Cuomo has a commanding lead in the Democratic primary for the New York City mayoral election, according to a new poll from Marist University.

Cuomo was the top choice for roughly 40% of likely Democratic primary voters, including those who are undecided. His nearest opponent is Queens Assemblyman Zohran Mamdani, coming in with 18% support.
