Morning Briefing: Edwin Díaz Now Third On Mets’ All-Time Saves List

Backed by another gem from Kodai Senga and his signature ghost fork, the Mets edged out a 2-1 victory against the Pittsburgh Pirates on Tuesday. Brett Baty hit went yard yet again, this time a go-ahead solo shot. With Senga’s strong performance, his ERA pretty much stood pat at 1.22. Baty’s OPS climbed to .791, which is tied for the team lead outside of the big three. He also now has four home runs in his past five games.
