Leopard found dead in snare trap in Karnataka’s Hulukodu

A 12-year-old leopard was found dead in an estate in Hulukodu village, having been caught in a snare. Villagers discovered the decomposed body and alerted forest officials, who suspect the animal had been trapped for five or six days. A post-mortem examination was conducted, and the leopard's remains were cremated according to regulations.
