'Inexperienced' Teen Driver Gets Into Wild Accident on Long Island

A teen driver in Long Island is incredibly lucky following a hard-to-believe car wreck on Mother's Day.

Officials told News 12 that the 17-year-old driver accidentally accelerated too hard, causing her silver 2008 Jeep SUV to drive through a bulkhead at the Brookhaven Town Marina in Port Jefferson Sunday night. 

The car went through the divider and nearly entered the Long Island Sound, but thankfully landed on floating dock.
