The National Weather Service released an updated wind advisory at 11:38 p.m. on Sunday in effect until Monday, May. 12 at 5 p.m. for the Greater Lake Tahoe Area.
The NWS Reno NV says to expect, “Southwest winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph. Ridgetop gusts up to 80 mph. On Lake Tahoe, hazardous boating conditions with wave heights of 2 to 4 feet.”
