Two beloved local pizza restaurants have reportedly decided to close after more than 30 years.

Operating a restaurant remains one of the toughest things in business. Restaurants have an overall failure rate of 30 percent. Close to 20 percent of restaurants close during their first year of operation.

So, when a restaurant lasts for several decades, it's an incredible accomplishment. It also makes things incredibly sad when they ultimately decided to close after decades of operation.
