Wind advisory affecting the Greater Lake Tahoe Area until early Monday morning – wind gusts up to 55 mph

The National Weather Service released a wind advisory at 1:02 p.m. on Sunday in effect until Monday, May. 12 at 5 a.m. for the Greater Lake Tahoe Area.

The NWS Reno NV says to expect, “Southwest winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 55 mph. Ridgetop gusts up to 100 mph. On Lake Tahoe, hazardous boating conditions with wave heights of 2 to 5 feet.”
