Thousands march in Germany against the far right

Massive protests erupted across Germany against the Alternative for Germany party. This followed the intelligence service's decision to label AfD as a right-wing extremist group. Demonstrators marched in numerous cities. They demanded a ban on the party. The AfD, however, claims the decision is politically motivated. The party's popularity has been growing. It secured second place in recent elections.
