Three shot in uptown Oakland early Sunday

OAKLAND – Three people were shot in an exchange of gunfire at 1:15 a.m. on Sunday in the 1900 block of Telegraph Avenue, sending all three people to the hospital with one in critical condition, according to authorities.

A 20-year-old San Francisco man and a 21-year-old Antioch man exchanged more than a dozen shots from at least two handguns, striking each other and a 26-year-old Bay Point woman, Oakland police said.

The San Francisco man was shot multiple times and is in critical condition at a local area hospital.
