US Treasury Secretary Concludes Talks with China after 8 Hours of Meetings – Trade Talks Will Resume Sunday

US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent

US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent and US Trade Representative Jamieson Greer met with representatives from China on Saturday in Geneva, Switzerland.

According to reports, Saturday’s meetings lasted eight hours. At one point the Chinese took a break but talks resumed shortly afterward.

Bessent is expected to meet with the Chinese again on Sunday.
