Assam CM inaugurates pipeline natural gas supply project for Guwahati residents

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma inaugurated a project to supply natural gas via pipeline to Guwahati, benefiting 101 households initially. He also launched Barak Valley's first CNG station and laid the foundation for piped gas supply in other regions. The project, with a Rs 2,616.95 crore investment, aims to expand natural gas access across multiple districts by 2028.
