Have you noticed that over the past 10 or so years, films have become so dark. Not thematically – but quite literally. I can barely see what’s happening in some of the biggest blockbusters of the current era. 

I’m also growing quite tired of haunting covers of 90s songs, the reimagined version of Nirvana’s hit Smells Like Teen Spirit featured in the opening credits of Black Widow being one such example.
