Dozens of homes could sprout on a San Jose site in the Alviso district

SAN JOSE — Dozens of homes could sprout on a San Jose site in the city’s Alviso district, a property that now accommodates a hodgepodge of residences, industrial uses and commercial activity.

The development site has addresses of 1563 to 1641 El Dorado Street and is near the site of Vahl’s Restaurant in north San Jose.
