Higher credit guarantee to boost startup funding, R&D: DPIIT

Twice the guarantee cover to borrowers Credit Guarantee Scheme for Startups (CGSS) will aims to reduce lending risks, encouraging financial institutions to support startups in R&D and innovation. The revised scheme also extends the extent of guarantee cover to 85% for loans up to Rs 10 crore and 75% for loans above that.
