Summer heat fades, rain chances increase around Portland

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) -- The summer-like heat felt Tuesday around Portland will fade as clouds increase and rain chances return to the region on Wednesday.

Skies will remain mostly dry across much of the Portland, Vancouver area on Wednesday, but temperatures will cool into the low to mid-70s. A 10-degree temperature drop is due to an approaching cold front that will bring a few sprinkles back to the region Wednesday evening into Thursday.
