Last fall, at a sensitive juncture of the Lebanese Hezbollah history, the political council of the resistance movement named Sheikh Naim Qassem as the new secretary-general, replacing martyr Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah. Before this appointment, the assassination of Nasrallah represented the biggest blow to the resistance movement.
