Reliance Jio halts plans of express home delivery of SIM cards

Reliance Jio has halted its plan to launch express home delivery of SIM cards. This happened after the Department of Telecommunications raised security concerns. The department had earlier stopped a similar service by Bharti Airtel and Blinkit. Airtel is now reviewing its SIM card home delivery service. The government wants self-KYC to happen before SIM delivery for security reasons.
