Voters in Jennings elected Carolyn Simon as city council member

JENNING, La. (KLFY) – Voters in Jennings went to the polls to elected a member to the City Council for District A. 

Voters decided between the Elisha Neal Duhon of the Republican Party and the incumbent candidate Carolyn King Simon of the Democratic Party. 

In the election, Simon won the election with 55% of the vote defeating Duhon.

King has served as Jennings council member since 2017.
