The 2025 Kentucky Derby will see a field of 19 horses going from the starting gate, with the Run for the Roses is set for a post time of 6:57 p.m. on Saturday.

The race is for three-year-old horses, with a total prize pool of $5 million making it the richest prize outside of the Breeder’s Cup in American thoroughbred racing.
