Inquirer to combine print, digital operations under one company

MANILA, Philippines – Inquirer Interactive Incorporated, which manages the digital news platform Inquirer.net, will be taking over the operations of the Philippine Daily Inquirer (PDI) newspaper on July 1, 2025, “following a thorough review of its challenges” by the Inquirer’s board of directors.

PDI made the announcement on Friday, May 2, a day before World Press Freedom Day.
