Trump says tax cuts 'part of the religion' at National Day of Prayer event

President Donald Trump used a National Day of Prayer event at the White House to push for the extension of his tax cuts.

While speaking at a Rose Garden ceremony on Thursday, Trump mentioned his "one big beautiful bill" that would extend tax cuts that primarily benefit wealthy Americans.

"We love that bill," Trump said. "I won't like it if it doesn't pass. Neither will you. If it doesn't pass, your taxes are going to go up 68 percent."
