Marin wildlife organization holds educational event

WildCare, the animal welfare organization in San Rafael, held a “family nature day” event on Saturday at the Richardson Bay Audubon Center and Sanctuary in Tiburon.

The event included a naturalist-led hike, crafts, bird-watching and other activities.

WildCare organized the event in honor of Elizabeth Terwilliger of Mill Valley, a naturalist and environmental educator who died in 2006.
