Temu Prices Skyrocket Amid China Tariffs

Chinese-based retailer Temu drew in American customers with its low prices highlighted by its "Shop Like a Billionaire" slogan. But after the massive import tariffs imposed on China, Temu customers will be forced to pay a lot more as prices have begun to skyrocket.

In response to the tariffs, Temu has started adding “import charges” of about 145% on its products, causing prices to skyrocket, more than doubling the price of many products listed on the retailer's marketplace.
