Supreme Court refuses to entertain fresh plea challenging Waqf (Amendment) Act

The Supreme Court declined a new petition against the Waqf (Amendment) Act, 2025. The court cited numerous similar petitions already scheduled for review. A bench led by Chief Justice Sanjiv Khanna directed the petitioner to intervene in the pending cases. These cases are set for interim orders on May 5. Earlier, the court limited the hearing to five petitions.
