Update: Winter weather advisory issued for the Greater Lake Tahoe Area until Sunday midday, possibly 6 inches of snow

At 1:37 a.m. on Saturday, the National Weather Service issued an updated winter weather advisory in effect until Sunday, Apr. 27 at 11 a.m. for the Greater Lake Tahoe Area.

“Snow accumulations of 3 to 6 inches above 7000 feet with up to 10 inches along the highest peaks. 1 to 3 inches at lake level.
